Skomarbillard.dk – digital platform for schedules, results and tournament display
Danish cue-sports club Skomarbillard needed something more robust than Excel sheets and Facebook posts. We built a system that makes it easy to create tournaments, display schedules and keep results updated — all stored safely in WordPress and presented clearly on both mobile and desktop.
- Tournament module: organisers can create events and add any number of schedules (multiple schedule types).
- Schedule UI: clear match matrices with colour coding, points and standings — responsive for desktop/mobile.
- Live updates: results are saved to the database via the WordPress REST API and AJAX.
- History & chronology: previous rounds and full tournament flows are easy to review.
- Performance & ops: lightweight JavaScript frontend and solid WordPress backend with user roles.

Outcome
The club moved from scattered Excel files and Facebook threads to a unified platform where tournaments are updated continuously and everyone can follow along. Schedules are easy to read, results are stored safely, and organisers save time — while presenting the sport more professionally.
